3 days of fun, skateboarding, and progression....and don't forget heat! But regardless of how hot it was everyone still had fun, especially with races and competitions for FREE products. MANIK gave out a hand full of decks a bunch of tee's stickers and autographs while force trucks came out and dropped off some free product for the kids, as well as Analog shootin out some free tee's. Thanks to MANIK, Force trucks, Analog clothing, and parks and rec. AND SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THE KIDS WHO CAME OUT!! see you next year! (Check out the BUTCHS myspace for more pics from the camp) |

The skate camp is 30$ and will be held at Crawford Park in Woodland on august 5Th -7Th. 9 am. -3 pm. with a break from 11-12 for lunch, and various breaks through out the day. We have PRO skaters, MIKEY BURTON and JOSH ANDERSON from MANIK skateboards. Nike Sb, and Adidas, coming to teach everyone almost anything. From how to start riding, to advance tech tricks. And you better believe the BUTCH'S team will be out there too! Sign up at the Woodland Community Center on East St. right behind the County Fair Mall. Spots are going fast so make sure to sign up quick!! (ALL skaters under 18 will be required to wear a helmet) |

| Our boy Brian Johnson, 18, from Fairfield just took off to be a camp counselor at the notorious Woodward West. Before Brian took a vacation from the BUTCH'S family we asked him a few questions about what he will be doin' for the next ten weeks. Q. What’s the routine for you out at Woodward? A. Wake up and wake up all the kids at 7:45 everyday. Eat breakfast in the chow hall. Skate instructions till 12. Lunch, then free skate till dinner at 5. Then skate till 10pm. Chill for about an hour, lights out at 11. Sleep then repeat. Q. How long have you been doin' the counselor thing at Woodward? A. This will be my third year at Woodward West. Q. Do you get to meet a lot of cool people and pros? A. Ya I have seen and met so many pros I can’t keep track. Q. Are you stoked to be workin there? A. Getting to work at Woodward has been a dream of mine since I started skating. At then end of a winter camp I got to close down the whole place and skate all of Woodward by myself. Q. Any shout outs to the kids? A. Ya, have fun and don’t give up on your dreams!
